Buck to doe ratios are at approximately 20 bucks to 100 does. These whitetail live in small pockets primarily the riparian areas in central Douglas County. They have distinct white rings around their eyes and muzzle. Mature bucks weigh about 115-135 pounds and have light tan racks.
Western Oregon Outfitters has property leased in this prime Columbia Whitetail (a.k.a. "Columbian Whitetail") habitat. There are only an estimated 10 tags available for public draw according to Oregon Fish and Wildlife.

There are no non-resident tags available for the public draw. Your tags will be issued through the Land Owner Preference program and are good for one Columbian Blacktail or one Columbia Whitetail (a.k.a. "Columbian Whitetail"). The great aspect of this is your Columbia Whitetail (a.k.a. "Columbian Whitetail") tag is only valid for the specific property it is issued for. You will have no competition with other hunters because of your exclusive tag.
